CeeLo Green was born Thomas DeCarlo Callaway in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 30, 1974.
His earliest musical outings were in the church, as both of his parents were ministers. His father passed away when he was just two, while his mother died when he was 18 after being paralyzed in a car crash.
In the early 1990s, Green and three others — Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo — started the
