The World Press Photo Foundation has received a substantial contribution from the Dutch Postcode Lottery for a multi-year program of cultural and educational initiatives linked to the World Press Photo House.

As a Dutch organization the World Press Photo Foundation has a long-standing ambition to create a public location for its diverse portfolio of activities and programs.

The World Press Photo House will enable the Foundation to create new and innovative cultural and educational activities to promote visual journalism and storytelling in Amsterdam, an expansion of its mission of connecting the world to the stories that matter.

The World Press Photo House will be located in Westergasfabriek’s former engineers’ building, making the World Press Photo Foundation one of the new tenants at Westergasfabriek.
